Security updates for Windows are released frequently by Microsoft to protect the user from hackers and viruses. The present update addresses the vulnerability in Windows Kernel which could allow elevation of user privileges. The vulnerability could allow elevation of privileges if an attacker logs on to a system and runs a specially crafted application.
